What's our brand of games about?

I love when I get so swept up in a game's theme, that the bits of cardboard, wood and plastic fade away, and leave me to experience the world of the game in an almost cinematic way. For a moment, I'm actually slaying monsters. I mourn our tragic losses. I delight in being the villain and seeing my machinations bring ruin to others. And the dice and cards are just the means to advance the plot.

Smirk & Dagger Games is built on a simple premise... that games are more fun when they engage both the heart and the mind, creating a unique challenge - and a real feeling at the table that you’ll want to return to again and again. Games that dazzle the eye on the table and cause people lean in to find out what it's all about. Stuff that delivers a real experience. In short, games you'll remember - not because you won or optimized your score so well, but because you all "lived it" and came away with stories of the world you visited together.
