Run for your Life, Candyman! DELUXE: a cult classic of cookie combat

Our game of cookie combat is back with a deluxe edition, not found in stores. Features a 22x22" neoprene board, 6 full color, double sided Gingermeeples, and larger, prettier cards.

So, it's every gingerbread man for himself in a mad dash for the border. And if you have to snap a few ginger limbs to save yourself, well...that's the way the cookie crumbles.

Okay, that's what it says on the box... what's it really like?

Brutal and chaotic. Mean-spirited and a whole lot of fun. In an effort to escape the land, things get ugly. Knowing full well that only ONE of you will ever get by The Twins who guard the border, you will do anything to make sure that cookie is you. And so, this is a no-holds-barred gingerbread smackdown.

As you pass other players along the board, you get to take a shot at them. This gets assessed as damage on a gingerbread status sheet. Fill up all 6 damage boxes on a limb - and rip it off. It's gone. Keep it as a trophy. But not to worry...this is an enchanted land. You can be just a ginger foot hopping across the finish line and still win.

To help you along the way, you will be earning 'Special Treat' cards, special attacks and defenses like, "Candy Caning" (two shots to each leg), "Ginger Snap" (tear off a damaged arm and smack 'em with it) or equiping yourself with a ranged weapon like "Licorice Whip".

And just when you think you've won, you may be called back into a 'Candy Cage Match' space by another player. There you will exchange blow after blow, taking hit after hit and dishing out the same until one of you is able to escape the match with a final parting shot.
